It's a very small banana and it can be from 5 to 9 cm.
It has got a smooth skin that separates very easily from the pulp.
Its flavour is the same as the banana, with an intense, sweet and creamy flavour.
Conserve at a temperature of about 12-16° C.
Crèpes stuffed with bananito
For the crèpes: 250g of flour, 50g of sugar, 3 eggs, 20g of butter, 4 dl of milk.
For the filling: 8 bananitos, 1 lemon, 100g of grated orange skin, 50g of sugar, 50 g of butter, 1 little glass of rhum.
Preparation: prepare the cream for the crèpes by mixing the ingredients and then leave it resting for some minutes. Then cook two crèpes for each person. Shave the bananito, mash it and add lemon juice. Heat the puree with some butter and add the grated orange skin. Put on each crèpes 2 spoons of the filling and fold up in four parts. Put on the sugar and wet them with the rhum.
