New breed coming from France, it is the result of intersections between Winter Doyenne and Doyenne du Comice, it is protected by a patent and its merchandising is a prerogative of the Club Angelys; Spreafico is its exclusive dealer in Italy.

aspect and taste

It's a fruit of big size (about 300 gr.), it has got short oval, sometimes irregular shape, a resistant bronze skin, a thin, soft, sugary and very aromatic pulp.

For its organic features, the ripe fruit is suitable for the fresh consumption, while the unripe fruit is suitable to prepare receipts in which it can accompanied by cheese and meet expressly studied by the Club Angelys.

The pear is appreciated by a great number of consumers for its taste, fragrance and juice.

maintenance

You can find it until the end of June, it has got a very good shelf-life because it is very resistant to the handling, it's better to conserve it at 0-2° C while in order to taste it in the best way you should leave it for some days in the fruit box at the environment temperature.

FEATURES

From a nutritional point of view it contains a good quantity of simple sugars (fructose of rapid assimilation), pectin, tannin, mineral salts, malic and citric acid, in addition to phenol compounds with antioxidant action.

The pear is very easily digestible, it has got a depurative, refreshing and laxative function and it is very suitable in the diet of young and old people.
