It is cultivated especially in Cyprus and it is also called mandarin to squeeze.
This delicious fruit is similar to the mandarin and for its flavour it is similar to the tangerine and the orange; it has to be consumed mainly as a juice. It can be also used for glazes, preserves and jams.
It is very responsive to temperature differences: avoid to conserve it at less than 5° C. for more that 7 days.
It is rich of vitamin C and fibres; it is a good help in case of bile illness, lung poisoning and capillary fragility.
